Mission Statement

The UBC Medicine Political Advocacy Committee (PAC) is a medical student-led group within the University of British Columbia’s Medical Undergraduate Society (MUS), a group representing close to 1100 current medical students in British Columbia. We aim to brings health and social advocacy initiatives to the forefront of both the public and local, provincial, and federal governments.

Overall Vision

The PAC seeks to forward institutional change to improve the health and social environment of the public, and thus ultimately, our future patients.

Our Mandate includes, but is not limited to:

  • Outlining educational, political, and social issues of importance to UBC medical students and the public.

  • Organizing UBC medical students in support of relevant local, provincial, and federal advocacy efforts.
